 Re: 2008 Foals
Thanks Catharina! We think he is pretty special...he is really going to be a tall one. Do you still have that lovely little AQHA (he looked like the paint) foal in your photo? Yes, I would love to see a photo of your mares's first foal. Nan

Yes, I would love to see a photo of your mares's first foal. Nan I know this isn't a new foal, and I thank everyone in advance. Nan, that lovely colored foal is now a 2 yr old stud colt. He belongs to my best friend, but I love him as a model. Also he has the most amazing temperament. My mare had been bred to the same sire, but aborted her foal (a filly with a single white diamond marking on her neck) Whaaaa!! So Trump was adopted, as my friend had 2 new foals that year. I am having a hard time getting a good confirmation shot as he is either got his nose in the camera or is galloping between the other horses. But this is an unedited photo and I am going to fix / add a muzzle.. lol Trump is a colored warmblood (Oldenburg cross)

 Re: 2008 Foals
Thanks Catharina, somehow I missed this. She's bred to do jumpers or dressage! Catharina Van Leeuwenkamp wrote: OMG! I never saw "Flying Flurry" lmao.. what a fantastic photo, jumper with a dab of dressage .. just love those airs above ground, the next successful Olympic horse BTW is she laughing at you Melanie in the last photo. hehehe!! She had just gobbled up her first molasses-n-oats cookie (I make them at home) and was trying to keep the experience as long as possible!

Holy cow! He's huge too! And what a butt indeed. LOL, just noticed he's wearing two lead ropes. Nancy Weaver wrote: Mel, Spotless is growing like a bad weed. He is five months now..I snapped this this afternoon. And that's a good looking colt out of your mare too, Catharina!

Mel, I don't know why Raez had two lead ropes on him??? He has only been at our house for the last two weeks and he was getting a tour.

 Re: 2008 Foals
Probably one to lead and one as a rump rope. That's my bet.

 Re: 2008 Foals
Hey Shirley, do you have any updated photos of this colt? I LOVE the shoulder on him. Is he for sale? Oh gosh, I shouldn't even ask... Shirley McQuillan wrote: Thanks for the great name ideas, ladies! The black colt needs a 'D' name <hint hint>

Nan, I love that shot. The first thing that pops into my head is Breyer horse with the water shining him up so nice. Darcie

 Re: 2008 Foals
Very nice - wet horses always look so perfectly shiny. He looks like he has a really good attitude.
